Haresh SHARMA

Haresh SHARMA, the resident playwright with The Necessary Stage since 1990, has written more than 130 plays in an illustrious career that has spanned more than three decades. A 2015 recipient of the Cultural Medallion, the highest arts honour for Singapore artists, his plays have been staged from Melbourne to  London. Haresh is best known for ‘socially conscious’ plays that raise probing questions about societal issues. Read the interview with Haresh.

In 2030, Singapore will turn 65.
